The frequency bands of radar level meters are selected according to their working principles and application scenarios, and there are two common frequency bands: 26GHz and 80GHz.The main differences between these two frequency bands are as follows:

, the working frequency band is different: 26GHz radar level meter's working frequency band is 24.125GHz to 26.5GHz, 80GHz radar level meter's working frequency band is 76GHz to 81GHz.

, the measurement range is different: due to the 80GHz radar level meter's working frequency band is higher, so its measurement range is wider, and it can measure the smaller level change, which is applicable to the level change of the higher requirement occasions.Requirements for higher occasions, while 26GHz radar level meter is suitable for general liquid level measurement.

, different measurement accuracy: 80GHz radar level meter measurement accuracy is higher, can reach millimeter level accuracy, while 26GHz radar level meter is relatively low precision, generally between a few millimeters to a dozen millimeters.

, price and installation requirements are different: due to the 80GHz radar level meter technology is more advanced, so the price is relatively high, while the installation requirements are also high, you need to ensure that there is no obstruction within the measurement range to ensure the measurement accuracy and stability. The 26GHz radar level meter is relatively low price, installation requirements are also lower, applicable to general level measurement occasions.
