Products Description
The global solar radiation sensor is a radiometer that measures the irradiance received on the earth's plane. It can be used to measure the global solar radiation in the spectral range of 0.3~3 microns. If the sensing surface is facing downward, the reflected radiation can be measured. It can also be used to measure the solar radiation incident on the inclined surface. If a shading ring is added, the scattered radiation can be measured.
The solar radiation sensor consists of a double-layer quartz glass cover, a sensing element, a shading plate, a meter body, and parts. The sensing element is the core of the meter, and is composed of a fast-responding winding electroplating thermopile. The sensing surface is painted with 3M matte black paint. The sensing surface is a hot junction. When the sun shines, the temperature rises, and it forms a temperature difference electromotive force with the cold junction on the other side. The electromotive force is proportional to the intensity of solar radiation. The double-layer glass cover is to reduce the impact of air convection on the radiation meter. The inner cover is designed to cut off the infrared radiation of the outer cover itself.
