Portable Ultrasonic Flow Meter

The ultrasonic flow meter is a type of flow meter that measures the velocity of a fluid with ultrasound to calculate the flow rate of the liquid. Using ultrasonic transducers, the flow meter can measure the average velocity along the path of an emitted ultrasound beam, by averaging the difference in measured transit time between ultrasound pulses propagating towards and against the direction of flow, or by measuring the frequency shift due to the Doppler effect. Ultrasonic flow meters are affected by the acoustic properties of the fluid and can be affected by temperature, density, viscosity, and suspended particles. Ultrasonic flow meters are cost-effective because they use no moving parts, are easy to install, require no cutting or drilling of pipe, and are easy to maintain.

●The measuring range is large, and one set of sensors can be used to measure pipe diameters within all measuring ranges.
