This product is a surface mounted ultrasonic flow meter that evaluates the flow rate in a pipe by measuring the velocity of the flowing medium using an ultrasonic sensor.

The advantage of surface installation directly on the pipe system is the low price and low installation time, there is no risk of pipe damage and subsequent liquid leakage, and thanks to surface mounting, there is no disruption of liquid flow and pressure loss due to the installation of the sensor inside the pipe. The surface-mounted ultrasonic flowmeter is suitable for measuring all common types of liquids and chemicals. substances used in chem. and the food industry, in production: water, oils, solvents, etc.

The system consists of a control unit and two ultrasonic sensors. The control unit with LCD display is used to set parameters and display measured values, the unit is controlled by buttons. All inputs and outputs (power supply, sensors, communication...) have a common screw terminal block. The ultrasonic units are wired and connect to the control unit using a three-wire cable (a 10m cable is part of the package), the wire to the sensors can be shortened or extended as needed thanks to the terminal board on the side of the control unit and the sensor. The ultrasonic transducers are attached to the pipe system using supplied metal rings and silicone sealant, which is also included in the package.
