Products Description
When raindrops fall on the piezoelectric rain gauge, they exert pressure on it, causing the piezoelectric material inside the sensor to deform. This deformation generates an electric charge, the value of which is directly related to the intensity and frequency of rainfall. Therefore, by measuring the amount of this charge, the piezoelectric rain gauge can estimate the amount of rainfall.
