The tipping bucket rain gauge is a hydrological and meteorological instrument. It is used to measure the rainfall in nature and convert the rainfall into digital information output in the form of switching values, so as to meet the needs of information transmission, processing, recording, display, etc. 
This instrument is a primary instrument for precipitation measurement. The tipping bucket, its core component, adopts a three-dimensional streamlined design, making the water tipping of the bucket smoother and easier to clean. This is a precision rain gauge. During use, the tipping bucket and the outlet of the water-diversion funnel need to be maintained and cleaned regularly. When the instrument leaves the factory, the inclination angle of the tipping bucket has been adjusted and locked at the optimal inclination angle position. During installation, it can be put into use only by installing the tipping bucket and adjusting the base to be horizontal according to the requirements of this instruction manual.

● Measuring key metrics including precipitation amount, precipitation intensity, and precipitation time.
